Imagine by Emika is the story of a passionate self-taught designer who has spent years finding his way in the world of Adobe — long before Creative Cloud even existed. Imagine by Emika is a one-person business with many solutions in a single pair of hands — and that's precisely where its strength lies.
With a background in communication management, public relations and advertising, Imagine by Emika combines technical knowledge with a strong sense of strategy and storytelling. I think in images — and translate ideas into designs that stick in the memory. I was born in Belgium, but currently live in Brazil (Fortaleza, CE).
I work for clients all over the world, in five languages, without office hours and without assembly-line work. Small or large — every project gets the attention it deserves.
You'll notice below that I've set my skills at 90% rather than 100. I believe there's always something new to learn — and that's exactly what makes this profession so exciting.
PS — Emika isn't a name I picked at random. It's a tribute to my grandfather — a man who was always a great source of inspiration in my life. His initials, brought together in a single name. That's how I carry him with me in everything I do.
